COUNTS HOLLOW VINEYARD
VINEYARDS
We currently care for two vineyards with a
new one on the way in 2008.  Our
Arrowhead Vineyard is located at our
winery site near Salem, MO.  It consists of
about one acre of vines planted in Spring
of 2007.  Pierre Vineyard is also located at
our site with about 2.5 acres of different
varieties.  The other vines we tend are
located at Marco Vineyard on Joe &
Jennifer Rhodus' homestead in Park Hills,
MO.  The Rhodus' have two acres of mature
Traminette vines.

As they say, "It takes a village...".  Well maybe it wasn't grapes they were talking about, but as we've
learned it does take a village to raise a bunch of grapes and a winery building.  Even though we are in our
infancy as a winery, we have acquired a long list of people to thank.  Many of those folks are in our
Friends & Family photo album.  Click on the collage below to meet them.

In March 2007, we began construction of our winery.  The winery
will be built using straw bales.  This is a traditional building method
that also happens to be very "green".  By using straw bales for the
wall infill, we are enhancing the efficiency, comfort, and beauty of
our winery.  Click on the picture to see how we are progressing.
